COTH Technologies is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join its growing team. The successful candidate will join an organization and help it improve its application lifecycle management by enabling continuous integration and delivery, as well as automatic provisioning. The candidate will also provide a new architecture that shows how to consolidate various configuration management systems.

Job Functions

  • Review existing application lifecycle management processes and environments and proposed new solution architectures that enable DevOps capabilities, including continuous integration / continuous delivery

  • Perform comparison analysis of the solutions proposed

  • Provide recommendations and a plan to enable automatic provisioning

  • Implement new architecture that enables DevOps best practice on client hybrid architecture (on-premise and cloud)

  • Implement automatic provisioning

  • Support the DevOps infrastructure and propose recommendation to improve it

  • Work with client to implement recommendations

 

Experience Requirements

  • Candidate to provide direct server support during various operations such as deployment and general

  • production

  •  Designed, implemented, and tested disaster recovery and business continuity

  • architectures.

  •  Designing, implementing and testing agreed-upon infrastructures

  •  Perform configuration of Jenkins including identifying and installing required plug-ins to

  • Jenkins, writing scripts to configure build jobs, and building pipelines.

  •  Responsible for writing automation scripts to connect and test developments.

  • Provide hands-on cloud and infrastructure system administration & troubleshooting

  • expertise

  •  Maintain functional expertise on the latest computer, storage, networking, and

  • virtualization technologies including surrounding industry best practices

  • Supports Customers AWS environments through shell scripting, SQL, Lambda, Python,

  • PowerShell, AWS System Manager across multiple accounts.

  • Maintained and enhanced the Continuous Integration & Deployment environment

  • Designed, built and maintained infrastructure on AWS environment

  •  Migrated existing services from physical data centers to AWS cloud

  • Strong experience with SDLC processes; familiarity with various developer documents, including deployment plans, high-level design documents, project management plans, and configuration management plans

  • Proven experience in DevOps by providing architecture and implementation for several organizations

  • Experienced required with

  • MS DevOps Server 2019 and Azure DevOps;

  • Continuous integration and delivery, including Jenkins, and Ansible;

  • Windows servers and Windows Internet Information Services (IIS);

  • Virtual Machines and containers management, including VMWare and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Docker; and

  • Project management methods, including agile and waterfall

Education / Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent
